If you think the graphics are better on SNES, you're probably looking at some of the smallest details, like clouds in the background and the backgrounds on the portraits, but just about everything else is more detailed on the Sega due to higher resolution and not needing to be stretched.
SNES has the moon so I guess that's a point? Just look at all the detail on Goro, Sega wins by a long shot.
